Asian Art & Folk Art from the many regions in Asia are diverse as the cultures that made them. Many of these cultures have their own unique spirituality and their artworks that were inspired by them. Some cultures were influenced by their neighbors & trade over vast distances & time which brought new ideas and visions of art.

Here you see artworks from diverse cultures, from The Ifugao People in the Philippines, Nagaland in India & Burma, the many cultures of Indonesia including the Dayak peoples of Borneo, the Indigenous peoples of Taiwan the Paiwan & Yami Tao people & the refined art objects of Japan. There are also a few artworks from Africa that were selected only for their individual beauty.

Every artwork or art object seen in my gallery was selected based solely on their aesthetic beauty & forms, when held in one’s hand or view it must bring joy and admiration for the artists and their beautiful creations. Objects that have been well used have their own visual history.  I hope that you enjoy these artworks as much as I do.
